World Freeskiing Champ Alison Gannett loves to ride her bicycle any time she is not on snow. Not only has she has won many ultra-endurance mtb titles around the country on her Santa Cruz Carbon Blur XC, but she tries to commute on some type of bicycle as much as humanly possible, even if she has to log 750 miles to travel to an event. Outside Magazine named her a Green All-Star of the year, next to Leonardo DiCaprio and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and she travels the globe as a keynote speaker, showcasing solutions to climate disruption, using an entertaining adventure sports platform, while also demonstrating how to save money while saving the planet. She is the founder of the Save Our Singletrack Foundation, Rippin Chix Bike and Steep skiing Camps, lives in a strawbale/solar home she built in Crested Butte, tries to grow her own food at 9,000 feet, loves and is allergic to coffee, and hates clammy chamois. Sponsors include: Santa Cruz, Smartwool, Patagonia, WTB, Osprey, KEEN, Elemental Herbs, and Nemo.
